THE PROJECT
We’ve introduced the GCC’s first e-commerce airline to address this challenge and cater to an underserved market. Mersal Air provides digital and on-demand services, facilitating end-to-end solutions across emerging markets. By establishing flexible and efficient air transport options, we’re poised to revolutionize e-commerce logistics in the region.
THE CHALLENGE
Presently, cargo distribution within the GCC heavily relies on trucks and traditional airlines with rigid schedules. This reliance leads to significant financial losses, estimated at $248 million annually, due to delays in truck transportation across the region.
VALUE PROPOSITION
Mersal will provide best-in-class technology to clients with a digital
journey that includes scheduling, price calculations, monitoring
and tracking shipments in real time, and capacity planning and
booking.
The platform will integrate with all delivery partners (first and last mile) in applicable markets within Mersal’s network.
